Note on Local Cancellation Policies
One important nugget from reviewing all of the RV sites in Navarre: while they are all very well rated, the main complaint across all campgrounds was cancellation policy. Users felt like property managers were not “understanding” or “compassionate” when it came to giving refunds on cancellations. Read and know the policies of each RV park before you book!

Navarre Beach Camping Resort is a hybrid resort, offering RV sites, cabins, travel trailer rentals (RV rentals), tent sites, and vacation houses. This is a “professionally managed” property, meaning a corporate management company (named IVEE) takes care of the rental business.
Most of the RV sites are “standard”. There is a selection of “extra large sites”, and an exclusive selection of “executive” sites and “waterfront sites”. On the provided park map, most of the RV sites are quite a distance away from Highway 98, with only a dozen or so near the road. We highly recommend looking at the map to get your bearings.
Navarre Beach Camping Resort is unique from the rest of the RV parks in that it offers both RV rentals and alternative forms of staying on the property. They have a dog park, heated pool, laundry space, rental clubhouse, ice cream shop, and hot tub. It should also be noted the property is gated from external traffic.

On the very eastern edge of Navarre is The Hideaway Retreat. This is a boutique waterfront campground experience, with 50 RV sites. There are four different types of spots: Waterfront, Premium Waterfront, Waterview, and Premium Waterview. The sites have 20-50 amp hookups, along with WiFi.
They have a “chic” camp lobby, along with laundry facilities. There is a rental camper on site, called the “Shabby Shasta”. A community campfire happens in the evenings at “The Hangout”, with cornhole, ring toss, ping pong, and more. More facilities are pending, including a fishing pier and kayak rentals (when these will be available is unclear). The property is located on the Santa Rosa Sound, with a beach for swimming.
According to the website, when booking, you are guaranteed a site, but not a specific site number (unless you pay an additional fee),
Our impression of The Hideaway Retreat is that the owners have a focus on making a niche aesthetic experience. Nice lighting, neutral colors, and a chic website design. This seems to be a way to bring in younger adults and parents, which is a great addition to Navarre.
As of this writing, there were 630 public Google reviews, with an average of 4.3/5.
Positives mentioned by RV campers:
- Pretty scenery and nice aesthetics, one user said “…like camping in a cozy Norman Rockwell community…”

Grater RV Hideaway Cove is a small RV park to the east of Navarre, technically in Mary Esther. It is family-owned and operation started in 2022, with 9 new RV sites. They offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Each lot is covered in stone, with full hookups and a picnic table. There is a privacy/security fence spanning the perimeter of the property, along with video surveillance.
