Crab Island

The shallow waters in Destin attract a floating party made up of boat restaurants, private boats and a whole host of other floating items. To get there, you’ll want to find a boat ride or rent a boat. The currents are too strong to get there otherwise. There is a Crab Island shuttle that is recommended. About a 45-minute drive from our house.
