FAQ

As of 2025, the Navarre Beach Causeway (bridge) is NOT yet tolled. There is some discussion about this bridge becoming toll-access only, similar to Pensacola Beach. A decision has not yet been reached.

Navarre feels very safe and clean compared to other areas in Florida. It's busy in the summer when tourist season is in full swing. Many of the residents are current or retired military. It's middle-class, with a lot of single-story homes built by the same developer. Most shopping is available off U.S. 98 or U.S. 87 (also used for commuters heading to Pensacola).

Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport is 45 minutes and Pensacola International Airport is 53 minutes away from Navarre Beach.

Visiting Navarre can be done any time of the year. Since we are located in the northern Panhandle, we experience some distinct seasonal weather depending on the month. Summer months are usually hot and muggy - great for the classic Florida experience. Fall is warm, but not quite so warm. Winters are cool (bring a light jacket) but excellent for exploring and walking the beach. Spring is a lovely time to see new growth and greenery, with warming temperatures.
